18 Days to Go — The Picture Is Taking Shape
Like any good snapshot, it doesn’t tell you everything… but it tells you enough.
I’ve pulled the numbers together so we can see where things actually sit at the moment across the ecpc Performance League. Not guesses, not opinions — just who has stepped forward so far. And as we charge on towards 100 registrations of interest, the direction of travel is pretty clear.
At this stage you don’t get balance, and you’re not supposed to. What you get is movement. You get the people who are ready stepping in early, putting themselves into something where they’ll be seen, challenged and held to account. That’s what this is showing. It’s not a finished picture, it’s a live one, and it’s still shifting.
There’s something in that as well. People have a habit of waiting at this point. Watching it develop, seeing who else commits, convincing themselves there’s a right moment to go. There isn’t. There’s just a window that’s open… and then it isn’t.
We’ve got 18 days left.
That’s enough time to act if you’re serious about it. Not enough time if you keep putting it off.
Because this won’t tidy itself up or slow down. It’ll just keep moving in one direction. Positions will fill, competition will increase, and decisions will get harder the longer it goes on. That’s how it’s meant to work. This was never about creating something comfortable or evenly spread — it was about creating something real.
Something where performance actually matters. Where you’re not hidden, not carried, not waiting around for opportunity to land in your lap. You step into it, or you don’t.
And right now, plenty are.
So as the numbers keep rising and we move closer to that 100 mark, the question isn’t really about what the picture looks like today. It’s about what it looks like when it closes… and whether your name is on it.
The window is still open — for now.
