Today is one of those moments.

We’re proud (and still slightly in disbelief) to announce that the ecpc Performance League has secured a major new backer committed to changing the landscape for English volleyball athletes.

And not in small ways.

In meaningful ways.

From the 2026 season onwards, every selected athlete in the ecpc Performance League will receive a £30,000 annual support package, fully funded private healthcare, access to a vehicle for the duration of the programme, accommodation for all league events and training blocks, and integrated performance support across analysis, strength and conditioning, and lifestyle.

For too long, athletes in this country have had to balance ambition with reality.

Work. Study. Travel. Compete.

All while trying to close the gap on nations where the environment is already built for them to succeed.

This changes that.

It removes friction. It creates space. It allows athletes to focus on what matters most — getting better.

With this level of backing, the ecpc Performance League becomes more than a competition. It becomes a genuine high-performance environment. A platform for athletes to explore and express themselves through the medium of volleyball. A system that accelerates development, rather than delays it.

And most importantly, a place where potential is no longer limited by access.

This has never been about creating something exclusive.

It’s about creating something that raises the standard for everyone.

When the environment improves, the game improves. When the game improves, the country moves forward.
