One week to go and we’re at 90!!!
And it feels different now. Not in the number alone — although that speaks for itself — but in what sits behind it. This hasn’t been built on noise or pressure or push. It’s grown through conversations, through quiet decisions, through people choosing to step forward when it would have been easier to wait and see - Ninety isn’t just a milestone. It’s a signal.
A signal that players want more than what currently exists. More opportunity to compete. More accountability in how they train and perform. More ownership of their own development, rather than waiting for something to be handed to them.
That’s what this has become and with one week left, the dynamic changes, this is no longer early engagement. It’s no longer something to keep an eye on, to check back in with, to maybe consider later. The pace has shifted. The line is moving. And decisions now carry weight — because they come with consequence.
There is still time that hasn’t changedm the door is still open. But it’s no longer standing wide, waiting patiently. It’s narrowing. Quietly, steadily, without pause.
Because momentum doesn’t stop to accommodate hesitation. It doesn’t slow down to bring people along. It builds, and it moves, and it rewards those who are prepared to step into it.
Ninety athletes already have.
They’ve chosen to be part of something that prioritises performance over comfort. Something that asks questions of them, that exposes them, that gives them a platform but also demands that they earn it.
That’s the difference. And that’s why this week matters. Because once it closes, the conversation changes. It moves from can I be part of it? to I wish I had been.
There’s still a decision to be made - but not for much longer.
